The teacher who teaches art at my daughter’s school has worn some crazy t shirts to school before and she always comes home and tells me about them. I guess that the kids like coming in and seeing what he has on for the day. It is one of the rituals of the school, just like putting away your backpack is.

One of the other mothers told me that he used to own a business in town that sold funny t shirts and he usually designed them himself. When a company that could make the crazy t shirts for less moved in, he had to close his store because he could not compete with them. Since he had a teaching degree to fall back on, he was hired by the school corporation.

I wonder if he still has all of the equipment or if his funny t shirts are from when he had the business. I would think that if he was smart, he would have the kids design some crazy t shirts and then put them on some shirts for them to wear. If he does not have those though, then I guess that it would not be possible. I would love to ask him, but do not want him to know that I was talking about him with other mothers.
